2021 saw aggressive attempts by Democrats to federalize state elections. Horrible legislation was put forth that would have overturned state voting laws, including the widely popular voter identification laws. AMAC Action, along with other conservative groups, spent a great deal of time and resources fighting these legislative proposals and defeated them for the time being.

Liberal Democrats have ruined the country. It is that simple. They have stacked the deck against citizens and, essentially, made the citizens’ votes meaningless since they have no intention of being representative of them concerning constitutional purposes regarding national security and the general welfare of Americans.
If we wanted fair elections we would have fair elections. It’s to the advantage of the thief to be unfair. The National Guard could provide secure, safe and supervise all FEDERAL elections with less than 10 unchangeable rules. Congress would have no say in what those rules would be, and Congress could not change those rules

If you cannot visit the polls, provide legal identification…..you cannot vote. That includes dead people and inmates (which have no voting privileges). No more voter fraud….PERIOD!!!!!
I became an independent after being fed up with both major parties….there is a penalty for switching to an independent affiliation you are denied the right to vote in the primary if there is no independent candidate…..I resent this……I resent being penalized……..they are reporting a low turnout……I believe in voting….one of our rights….a very important right I might add……

I disagree with you based on news stories that are coming out on the Ukraine battering by the Ruskies. However, I do concur that what is contemporarily occuring with the DemocRat governance and its Communistic ploys and tactics is extremely dangerous to this Nation’s future. If the rigging of the voting system by the DemocRats can be overcome in future elections and the Republicans acts appropriately in taking over governance, there is a chance that the Nation can make a reasonable return to a true Constitutional Democracy. However, I still firmly believe that Congressional and top-level Executive Branch top officials (e.g., FBI, CIA, IRS, etc.) should be restricted to term limits. And I also really believe a balanced budget amendment with salary penalties for failure be adopted (I know, even the Republican politicos would cotton to that.)
And to think Hitler surrendered to the United Nations…

It all depends on one’s perspective Bill. The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich was a highly detailed examination of how both a majority of the German people and the leaders of Europe at the time either ignored or chose to overlook the many early warning signs regarding Adolph Hitler. Warning signs that gradually allowed for his rise in power, that eventually caused the damage and deaths that he did on the world stage. The ultimate lesson from the book being that, through a series of early inactions and choices by both the German people and European leaders regarding Hitler, the resulting consequences for those inactions was something that was previously unimaginable.
As for 1984 and Brave New World, they were both written as intentionally, cautionary tales of what a world overrun by socialism or Marxism would look like in real-world practice. A kind of ripping off of the rose-colored glasses that the media (the New York Times and several other major newspapers of the times) and many leaders / administration officials in various world governments were spoon feeding to the public at the time. A stark view of a world where the government had achieved such total and unilateral control of humanity, that humanity itself was reduced to little more than interchangeable and replaceable parts in a huge societal machine designed for the sole benefit of serving the State. Both were intended to shock the western world of the time out of their romanticized view of what socialism or Marxism would actually deliver in real life. They were both written in a stylized fictional story form to make them more accessible and relatable to the general public. None the less, they both painted many aspects the end result of socialism or Marxism quite well.
Were 1984 and Brave New World depressing to read? Sure, but nowhere near as depressing as being forced to live under socialism or Marxism in real life. So again, it all depends on one’s perspective and what the intention of the authors are in how their book are written.
These books just affirm why History needs to be studied in our schools. And I mean all the way into college with History of Civilization. We need to know & learn lessons from our history.
I lent this book to my son many years ago & he did read it all the way through as I did…The amount of research & level of detail that went into it is almost mind boggling for sure…
You touched on the level of ” inactions ” by first & foremost the German people themselves & that of all of Europe with the end result of their inactions and the consequences that followed. I have always found it difficult to fully grasp as to how all of them allowed the onslaught to happen in the first place…When I look at countries like France & the Vichy regime, pro Nazi’s through & through with the heroic efforts of the French Underground playing a big part & cooperating with the Allied forces in taking them out, street by street…
Italy is another one under the idiot Mussolini making his nation an Axis Power along with the Empire of Japan… It seemed that so many of both the French & Italian peoples didn’t know whether to love or hate the United States, but in the end they figured out those dynamics & concluded they wanted no part of the NAZI machine…
To this very day, I can’t help but wonder how the German people really feel about the mass murders of their very own citizens, the Jewish people…They are now close to ( 4 ) generations removed, however, I still can’t help but wonder if there are still deep seated resentments towards their own Jewish citizens…
