BG Robinson | Bedrock of our Nation: The National Guard | EP 179

For over 386 years the National Guard has been the bedrock of our Nation; always ready, always there! In honor of the National Guard’s birthday, Rebecca Weber invited Retired Brig. Gen. J. Roy Robinson, President of the National Guard Association of the United States this week to shed a light on the areas the federal government is deserving the guard, especially today where they are responding domestically to pandemics, election sites and natural disasters more than ever. Did you know guardsmen do not have health insurance on a daily basis? BG Robinson and Rebecca also discuss the effect vaccine mandates had on readiness and recruitment and the uniqueness of the guardsmen’s skills. Tune in to learn more about how the National Guard is the bedrock of our Nation!

National Guard!!! Awesome men and women are there to pick up the slack when needed! I am a Nam vet and got a new CO. that I found crying alone in a dirty jungle bunker his first night. He was in shock he said because 3 weeks ago he was working as an IRS agent never dreamed he would be called to active duty.He needed someone to speak of his fears and culture shock. He said” they needed more training and to be aware of where they might go. I relay this to help if you are in the guard. He did fine and made it home.Lock and Load!!!
