At CPAC, Trump Outlines Bold Policy Agenda to “Complete the Mission” of MAGA Movement

AMAC Exclusive – By Aaron Flanigan

Trump

On Saturday, 45th President and 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump returned to a hero’s welcome at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in National Harbor, Maryland, where he once again delivered the keynote address. Trump’s speech marked his first CPAC appearance as a declared 2024 presidential candidate.

In a nearly two-hour speech, Trump cemented his status as the leader of the Republican Party and catalogued his campaign’s growing list of “bold, detailed” policies to build on the historic achievements of his first term and guide the country back to national greatness. “There is only one President in history who has ever taken on the entire corrupt establishment in Washington. And when we win in 2024, we will do it again even stronger, faster and better,” Trump said to roaring applause.

In his remarks, Trump articulated the historically high stakes of the 2024 presidential election, declaring that the United States is in the midst of “an epic struggle to rescue our country from the people who hate it and want to absolutely destroy it.” Nevertheless, Trump said, “we are going to finish what we started. We’re going to complete the mission. We’re going to see this battle through to ultimate victory. We’re going to make America great again.”

Since he announced his candidacy last November, Trump has rolled out a series of major policy plans, many of which he reprised in his Saturday speech. He promised, for instance, to end the illegal immigration crisis induced by Biden’s open border policies. “When I am back in the White House, the very first reconciliation bill I sign will be for a massive increase in border patrol, and a colossal increase in the number of ICE deportation officers,” Trump said of his plan to secure the southern border, before calling for “the largest domestic deportation operation in American history.” The former president also pledged to crack down on juvenile criminals convicted of crimes like carjacking, to create “tent cities” to relocate the homeless and “deranged” off our streets, and to send in federal assets to cities experiencing a “breakdown” of public safety.

In one of his more memorable lines of the night, Trump vowed to take on the federal bureaucracy, wage war on the censorship regime, and end the partisan weaponization of the Department of Justice and FBI. “In 2016, I declared, ‘I am your voice.’ Today I add: I am your warrior. I am your justice. And for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.” He also doubled down on his promises to revoke Joe Biden’s executive order installing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion czars in federal agencies, rescind every Biden policy that enables castration of children, and support the direct election of school principals by parents.

In one of his most visionary policy proposals to date, Trump called for the creation of “freedom cities” and the launch of a beautification campaign to root out ugly architecture and once again promote beauty in the public square. “We will hold a competition to build new freedom cities on the frontier to give countless Americans a new shot at home ownership and the American dream,” Trump said. “We will rename our schools and boulevards not after communists but after great American patriots. We will get rid of bad and ugly buildings and return to the magnificent classical style of western civilization.”

Additionally, Trump said he would bring a swift end to the conflict in Ukraine upon his return to the Oval Office. “I am the only candidate who can make this promise: I will prevent World War Three,” he said, citing his status as the only president in recent history to not drag the U.S. into any new wars.

“We will expel the warmongers. They are people that don’t get it… We will drive out the globalists. We will cast out the Communists. We will throw off the political class that hates our country,” Trump said.

Just prior to Trump’s remarks, CPAC released the results of its annual straw poll for the GOP presidential nomination, which Trump won overwhelmingly with 62 percent of the vote—up three percent from the straw poll in February 2022—further solidifying his status as the party’s leader and 2024 frontrunner. The former president beat out potential challengers like Ron DeSantis, who came in second with 20 percent, and declared candidate Nikki Haley, who finished with only three percent.

And as the American people become increasingly disillusioned by the Biden administration’s mounting heap of crises, it’s no wonder Trump’s popularity is soaring. As such, for potential primary contenders considering whether to throw their hats in the ring and take on Trump, Saturday’s speech serves as a resounding reminder that Donald Trump remains the undisputed leader of the GOP—and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

If people really love this country and don’t want to see it destroyed, they will vote Republican regardless of who is the chosen candidate, INCLUDING Trump!! To NOT vote for a person that can cause the dimocraps heads to rotate, just because his personality offends you, is INSANE!! That’s called cutting off your nose to spite your face!!

The left wing media and the establishment want you to believe that Trump is not electable because they are scared to death of him and what he could do to their corrupt policies and anti-American policies. We have a year to get Photo Voter ID and clean up the corrupt election process. Americans are fed up with half empty grocery shelves, high gas and energy prices, the open border policies of the Democrats, the failed public schools systems, the unbridled crime everywhere in the country, our weak foreign policy and the never ending race hustling.

Whether you like Trump or not is not important. It’s whether you love this country that’s important.

I hope Ron DeSantis doesn’t run this time for president. Florida (I don’t live there) needs him to keep the state free and thriving. If he left to run where would that leave the state? Plus, Trump gets nasty against his opponents which I don’t like. I loved what Trump did the first time, voted for him both times but hate his name calling and attacks on his own party members.

Like Trump is the only one who name calls. Guess you forgot all the horrible tweets and memes from our has-been actors, worn out media mob, etc., and etc. He just gives them a one-two punch! He’s hilarious and spot on! I love “Pencil Neck” MAGA!

Trump is not known for his diplomatic language but he is known for great success in what he intends to get accomplished and has earned a reputation of intelligence and resourcefulness. He also has been in the public eye long enough to achieve a fantastic success in disregarding or disarming opinions others may have unless he agrees with them. And if he’s willing to put himself through what it takes to be a politician HOORAY for the good of our country!

I think Trump is crazy for running again although I support him. Like he said he’s doing it for us not for him which I believe. It’s going to get very nasty from the left if that’s even possible for it to get any more nasty. This country is full of a lot of sick people who don’t like his personality. Oh, poor babies, did he hurt your feelings with a mean Tweet? boo hoo!
Get over it! He gets the job done, that’s what we need! You like paying $5.00 a gallon for gas? You like paying high taxes and astronomical prices for groceries? You like paying high interest rates for home purchases? If you are sick like that then don’t vote for him.

Trumps,s polices are what this country needs but Trump in not electable. In order for the Republican party to win it needs the independent vote. They will not vote for Trump because of his personality. I have a number of friends who are independents who have told me that despite what is happening to this country and that they like Trump,s policies they would never vote for him. They would vote Republican but not for Trump. A lot of my Conservative Republican friends like Nikki Haley. She is a conservative, not white and a woman.

William F Buckley said, elect the most conservative electable candidate. Nikki Haley or some other Republican might not be as conservative as Trump but Nikki Haley and another person[ man whose parents are from India whose name I cannot spell] are conservative with conservative policies and not a Rino.

Vicky Kramer

I consider Nikki Haley a RINO. She let the left talk her into removing a statue. She did not support Trump even though there was plenty of evidence there was voter fraud and Jan 6th was a setup by the Democrats. That is why she only got three percent and an unknown got 5 percent.

I agree with you but your Independent friends are idiots as are anybody else who won’t vote for the most qualified person for the job because hea meanie. This isn’t a popularity contest, it’s our leadership and the ability to do the job.

So being female and non white is the criteria that makes a great president? I pray that people would stop being so self centered, with such fragile feelings. We need so called conservatives and independents to grow up and think of the long term devastating effects on our country if we continue this downward spiral the left is pushing.

President Trump SHOULD BE the Republican presidential candidate. He has been president for four years with a near-stellar record, so why would anyone vote for president wanna-bees instead? Donald Trump had more than 80 million people vote for him before, and I don’t see why they won’t vote for him again. Ron de Santis is the only candidate I would consider, but he’s a proven governor, not a president; in my humble opinion, it is not his time; while I do like his conservative goals and values, he will be pussy-footing in the White House and will not possess as much “fire” to uproot the Deep State that Donald Trump has, someone who has been so unjustly targeted and treated. I hope all conservatives can see my point.

If Trump really wants to win in 2024, He should get rid of the Department of Education! Carter set that up and as payback for the teacher’s unions votes! I went to school without that department and education was done on the local level within each State! Electing principles of schools will do very little for our kids as long as the DOE and teacher’s unions control the curriculum! Really want to make America great again, it starts with making sure our kids are educated with TRUTH and Godly values!!! Not this social justice, CRT, and gender crap!!!!

We patriots can consider ourselves very lucky that President Trump is still willing too put himself on the front lines for the American patriots. He is a doer who announces his MAGA goals and then does his very best to bring together the best people whose goal is to build America up — from the top to the bottom, and from the bottom to the top. He is a clear-headed advocate and champion for our Constitution and the American citizens. He appreciates that his number one allegiance is to the promotion of a strong and secure border, so that the drug cartels and the illegal intruders, who are destroying our great country, can go elsewhere to create chaos and suffering. President Trump is a selfless champion for the American way of life. He offers no apologies to the miscreant Marxists and revolutionaries who are so stupid and evil that they want to make the greatest country in the world just another second rate globalist hell hole. If anyone can bring this country back to firing on all cylinders, President Trump is our man. As many people have noted, President Trump is a great leader, not a weak bull thrower. He’s an imperfect mortal who has the determination and drive to do whatever it takes to keep us free and flourishing. God Bless Donald Trump. We the American people need him, and he needs us.

Good Solid Article. Reflects Good Solid Trump. Biden & Company looking through tiny little slits with no common sense or peripheral vision; crawling out of the dark caverns of underground soil like moles in your lawn. Trump is overtly practical with more than a little horse sense. Biden & Company destroying belief in God, Family, Our Educational System; incorporating the sterilization of mind and body, bringing dishonor to Our Founding Fathers, promoting a sort of dictatorship by authorizing edicts that have NO legislative approval, dwarfing Medical Theory, rearranging our history by removing large portions of it; and replacing a Marxist version thereof, showing no concern for the safety and welfare of the American People, by NOT bringing safety and reason to dangerous toxic transportation; to the forefront of the concern of their impotent administration. The abysmal, disjointed and impotent administration that is Biden & Company has only one antidote: Trump & Co. This country needs to approach leadership with a leader; NOT a cowardly, philosophical approach only. It takes guts and real leadership! May God Protect Guide & Lead This United States of America!

It isn’t about Trump in 2024 it is about saving America.
One question who would you rather have in the White House?
A vote for old Joe and his regime or Trump and his vision for America.
No wonder de democrats will win again in 2024 with people thinking like the commenters.
Tell me one thing Trump has done when he was president that was detrimental to America.
Not slogans put out by the main stream media. Nothing about the man himself just provable facts that was bad for America and it’s people.

Much of what Trump said he would do is good and I hope he can get it done.

However, cracking down on juvenile criminals is not a federal issue. It is up to the states and cities unless we are talking about federal crimes. The same applies to creating tent cities and other actions to the homeless. The cities should follow the example of Coronado, California.

I don’t know what he means by “freedom cities” but who is he to decide what buildings are beautiful vs ugly? That is up to the architects, and building owners. Renaming schools and boulevards is also a local issue.

Elizabeth

You are so right! However, maybe creating conditions in our cities where citizens feel “safe”, able to walk down a sidewalk without going around a tent, funding a police department that are actually equipped to clean up the juvenile problem and then, allowing the citizens of our cities decide which conditions they choose to live and work in, would be leaving it up to city and states. Wouldn’t you agree?

Trump will get it done so long as he’s not hamstrung from day one like he was during his first term. I believe If Congress and the American public would get behind him he’ll do great things for this country like he’s promised.

If it is up to the cities to tear down statues and renaming streets why is that the edict went out from the White House to let the BLM and Antifa do just that.
Local citizens had no say over it.

Have you seen what Trump has been saying about DeSantis? Does it sound like he’s going to offer him veep? Trump is already furious that DeSantis is in the race at all. He wanted the field to be left clear for him. He is not a man who tolerates disloyalty.

Plus it remains to be seen how DeSantis will explain all the private calls between himself and a burner phone linked to the FBI the day of the Mar-a-Lago raid.

Go door to door and explain how the Democrats keep them down in poverty on purpose. Since they are pro-life, show them how the Republicans both are for saving the planet through saving jobs and using safe means for energy, not raising of taxes that keeps them down. I voted Democrat too, but changed over, when I saw what the Democrats actually did to keep the middle class and lower class down.
