I have 2 main prescriptions. Both are compounded. Will my Medicare insurance reimburse me for these costs? And/or, do you have plan that would cover them? Or, am I just out of luck if I am not doing the Big Pharma drugs?

Hello Ninstone,

Medicare Part B covers some compounded drugs. Whether your drugs will be covered depends on the specific drug taken and whether the producing entity follows FDA guidelines. If you believe your drug should be covered you may call 1-800-MEDICARE to see if it is eligible for reimbursement.

You are welcome to call in and speak with one of our licensed Medicare Advisors at 1-855-696-7535. We can look up your prescriptions and check if any of our plans cover them. Keep in mind that if Part D plans do not cover it, you may want to check with Medicare to see if it could be paid for using Part B.

Have a great day!

Do you offer a stand alone Prescription Drug Insurance. I have Medicare but I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS

Every time I ask for help here and push the button my message deletes. I need help, you advertise that you are there to do so but then poof you aren’t there. How frustrating and disrespectful. This is my 3rd attempt and I need help with my Medicare plan.

I am currently with an Aetna plan but am questioning if this is the most beneficial one for my needs. Is there a better plan? I am struggling to find someone to help me.
